The book has won the prestigious Anugerah Buku Terpilih Malaysia 2007. Motif Alam Dalam Batik dan Songket Melayu is Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka Malaysia (DBP) special project for its 50th Anniversary on 22th June 2006.

The Book: Merenung Jendela Hidup was writen by Malaysian politician and the former Malaysian Minister of Home Affairs, Tan Sri Syed Hamid Albar. This was the toughest assingment as I have to scout for photo location and do the design at the same time. Thanks to Muzium Negara Malaysia for giving me the permission for the photoshot . The photo of Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar was handed over to me by the editor and credit goes to the photographer for a fine work. The book was launched by Former Malaysia Prime Minister Y.A.B Dato’ Seri Abdullah Bin Haji Ahmad Badawi.

Description:
The Book: I was responsible with the concept and design for the book which tell the story of Hang Tuah, the legendary Malays warrior/hero who lived during the reign of Sultan Mansur Shah of the Sultanate of Malacca in the 15th century. I used my own photo which I took during a theater show, Wangi Jadi Saksi directed by U-Wei Hj. Shaari. I edited the photo using Adobe Photoshop to suit the requirement of the book design.
